This presentation is intended for 9th and 10th grade students taking high school biology studying ecology. A teacher can create a slide rocket presentation for students and post it online so students can reference the slides for homework help, detailed explanations for assignments, and much more. As a teacher, you can monitor which students are viewing the slide rocket presentation and for what length of time so that you can assess how students are getting information and spending time on homework.
By utilizing slide rocket, students will meet the National Educational Technology Standards for Students (NETS-S) standards by developing research and information fluency. Through slide rocket, students can locate, organize, analyze, evaluate, synthesize, and ethically use information from a variety of sources and media presented through slide rocket (Standard #3). They will also master technology operations and concepts by understanding and using technology systems. They can transfer current knowledge to learning new technologies (standard #6).
